First, to install the leakage protector. The submersible pump works under water, which is easy to leak and cause electric energy loss or even electric shock accident. If equipped with a leakage protector, as long as the leakage power of the submersible pump exceeds a certain value (generally not more than 30 MA), the leakage protector will cut off the power supply of the submersible pump, avoid the leakage of electric energy waste, to ensure safety.
Third, when installing the submersible pump, the cable should be overhead, and the power cable should not be too long. Do not force the cable when the submersible pump is launched or raised, so as not to break the power line. Do not sink into the mud when the submersible pump is working, otherwise it will lead to poor heat dissipation of the motor and burn the motor windings. When installed, the insulation resistance of the motor should not be less than 0.5 megohm.
Fourth, try to avoid starting when the power supply voltage is abnormal. If the voltage is too high, the motor will overheat and burn the windings; if the voltage is too low, the motor speed will decrease. If the voltage is not up to 70% of the rated speed, the start centrifugal switch will close, resulting in power supply and heating or even burning the windings and capacitors for a long time around the start.
Fifth, do not frequently switch the motor. This is because the pump will produce reflux when it stops running. If it starts up immediately, the motor load will start, resulting in excessive starting current and burning the winding.
Sixth, do not let the pump long-term overload operation, do not pump the water with large sand content, the dewatering operation time of the electric pump should not be too long, so as not to make the motor overheat and burn. During the operation of the unit, the operator must observe whether the working voltage and current are within the values specified on the nameplate at any time. If they do not meet the requirements, the motor should stop running to find out the reasons and troubleshoot the faults.
Seventh, the rotation direction of the motor should be correct. The direction of rotation of the motor should be made clear. Now there are many types of submersible pumps that can produce water when they are in positive rotation and reverse rotation. However, when the water output is small and the current is large, the reversal time will damage the motor windings.
Eighth, usually to check the motor, such as cracks found under the cover, rubber seal ring damage or failure, should be replaced or repaired in time to avoid water infiltration into the submersible pump.
